FAQ

Why do perfumes smell different on cards compared to when sprayed or applied?

While the fragrance formulation remains exactly the same—certified by advanced technology such as Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS)—there are several factors that influence how a perfume smells on cards versus on the body:

1. Environmental Impact: Tester cards are static and allow the fragrance to settle, while body application interacts with skin chemistry, body temperature, and natural oils, causing the scent to evolve differently.

2. Perception: Factors like mood, weather, and surrounding odors can influence how we perceive a scent at any given time.

3. Fragrance Evolution: On tester cards, the scent molecules dry and stabilize, often showcasing the base notes. On the body, you experience the top and middle notes first, which may smell different from the final dry-down.

Rest assured, the fragrances on tester cards and in the bottles are identical and are verified using advanced technologies like Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS).
